Hello! You need the just-right blondie in your life! Add in a few festive sprinkles or M&M’s, and they can be ready for holidays and celebrations. We added red, white, and blue candies this week to get ready for the 4th. These are a family favorite. Enjoy!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
- 1 ½ cups M&M’s (or eliminate these and increase chips)
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9×13 baking pan.
- Cream butter and sugar in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer. Then, add in your eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla.
- Gradually, mix in flour, soda, cornstarch, and salt.
- Stir in chips and M&M’s
- Gently press into your pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes (don’t over bake). Enjoy!
