Just like that, Jameson went from being my little guy to being an elementary school graduate and an eleven year old! Here is what he had to say about things last week when we celebrated this great kid:
Favorite color: purple (this also happens to be his future middle school’s color)
Favorite food: sirloin steak
Favorite part of the school day: science
Favorite TV show: Stranger Things
Favorite movie: Lilo and Stitch
Favorite book: Heroes by Alan Gratz
Favorite thing to wear: Nike clothes
I want to be a: lawyer or judge
I want to vacation in: Hawaii
My hero is: my family
My favorite things to do: skateboarding, video games, science experiments, cooking, traveling
Jameson wanted a science birthday this year. He spent the morning working on experiments and playing with interesting substances. Then, he took a midday skate-break at his favorite Boulder skate house. Grandma and Grandpa came over for pizza dinner and s’mores cake to cap off his day. It was a pretty darn good way to start another trip around the sun.

To Jameson,
You have and always will be our favorite boy. You love big and openly, and you make us laugh. You try all sorts of things from chess club to robotics to tennis to karate to basketball to cooking. You are a “Yes!” for life. You still can’t wait to wake up each morning to start the day anew. You love breakfast and robes. You hate bugs and don’t want to go camping any time soon. You love to travel, but home is your favorite place. You wear mismatched socks and love a cozy hoodie. You give the best hugs in the family, and your freckles are famous to us. And really, you are so much more than all of these things. We are proud of the person you are.
Have a beautiful eleventh year, my sweet son. xo.
