I love this kid. What’s not to love? He makes all of us smile. He tickles our feet and cracks himself up. He wakes up early, because he can’t wait to begin a new day, ordinary or not. He loves to eat and closes his eyes in ecstasy at good food. He is an expert hugger, full frontal with open arms and the right amount of squeeze. He has a little lisp which makes his r’s slurred and makes him, in my opinion, continually adorable. He loves adventures but is always ready to come home. He loves his monkey blanket, riding his bike, taking baths, helping mom cook, wrestling with dad, and snuggling/irritating his sister who is his favorite person in the world.
Last week, we celebrated this wonderful person’s sixth birthday. In honor of his big day, I did a little interview. I thought it might be kind of funny to look back on.

Jameson requested a Mario Kart birthday this year. Now, you know I love my husband and think he’s the greatest daddy. However, I blame him for the first video-game-themed celebration in the house.
I’ll get over it. It was pretty cute.
Here is a peek at our hurrah!
Harper made a Pin the Mustache on the Mario game for her little bro.
And of course, we had to have cake and family.
Yes, the authenticity of this Mario face is questionable. Just go with it.
The grandparents were all such good sports. Jameson is one lucky little guy.
Happy Birthday, Jameson. You fill me up. We love you.
